A fantastic conversation with Andrew Sturgess around mindset, adopting the right philosophies, and how they apply to your work and life.

Andrew (or 'Sturg' as he is more common known by his peers) is a Senior Coach of the VFL football side Coburg Lions, and host of the new podcast show Emergence, where he dives deep into the mindset of some elite performers who feature on the podcast.

He was appointed Senior Coach in August 2019, and also made 21 appearances for the club in the 2014-2015 seasons where he was a well-respected member of the playing and leadership group.

We chat about the movement towards a more philosophical approach to coaching in professional sports, the importance of having a clear vision of who you want to become and what you want to achieve, and ultimately why it all matters.

He has recently launched the podcast Emergence, where his interest in LEARNING and improving himself to become the best coach, leader, father & husband is very clear and extremely motivating to hear.
