We are thrilled to announce The Power of Us! I'm Lindsay Pateras, a queer woman, loving wife and mother, business owner, Lab Technologist and a survivor of childhood sexual abuse. I've watched in a combination of internal rage, sadness and disgust, as the world around us reacts as if the daily horrors don't affect them personally. 
Here on The Power of Us, my wife Christine and I will share what we've found to be most helpful for us: We're dropping the shame and secrecy around our traumas, and telling our lived life stories as they relate to the real world around us.
