Hi and welcome to That Makes 2 Of Us.
In this sixth episode, we will discuss a topic that is crucial to achieving our goals: focus and productivity. More specifically, we will discuss the productivity methodology “Getting Things Done” that redefines how we approach our life and has received a lot of global popularity over the past few years.
How can we get things done, how can we stay focused and what are tools to be more productive?
To answer all of these questions, we invited David Allen, the engineer of the Getting Things Done Methodology, or brief GTD, and the author of the award winning book of the same name who will provide us with insight and tools to maximize productivity.
David explains that “our head is a crazy office”, that we need a structured approach for planning and project management. He explains the five steps of GTD:
1. Capture,
2. Clarify,
3. Organize,
4. Reflect,
5. Engage.
Furthermore, David shares some specific tools to apply GTD in your professional and personal life.
And remember, it doesn't matter who or where you are, you are not alone because that already makes two of us.
