On our podcast today we welcomed Yuxuan Su. Yuxuan is a young aspiring event rider, representing Hong Kong and competing up to a CCI3*-L international Concours Complet International 3* - Long course, which is in basic terms to our listeners a 3-day competition, with the athletes on the beginnings of their international journey. With 5* being the Olympics, but I’m sure Yuxuan will tell us a little more about that. At the ripe age of 22, Yuxuan balances his eventing career with academia, currently pursuing an MSc in Bioethics at King's College London. Here are just some of his most notable achievements:

- Team Silver Medal - Asian Eventing Championships 2019

- Team 5th - Asian Games 2018

- Ind. Bronze medal - Asian Eventing Championships 2017

- Hong Kong Senior Team Member

He has achieved a lot in his time as a rider and what’s most exciting is that he’s only just getting started with his sights firmly focused on Paris 2024. In this podcast, we discuss the setbacks he's had as an athlete, how he overcame these. What is his decision was to compete in equestrian, and much much more.
