Jim Backes (to me, Uncle Jim), has been in the selling abrasives for nearly 40 years. About 30 years ago he launched a company called Phoenix Abrasives. Rising from the ashes, Phoenix Abrasives grew to be the stable and successful small business that it is today. They continue to grow and expand and most recently opened their online store.
