Without it, I don't think I would have dealt with things that came my way half as well.
From relationships ending - both partners & friendship break ups, to being 1 year sober and finding a new way of coping.
This episode is here to ask you, how are you numbing the pain your are feeling?
As Gabor Mate says - When your in pain at the hospital, what do they do? They give you something to numb the pain.
In life, we can end up using different ways - from alcohol, drugs or even gambling to numb our feelings.
When what we really need to start with is an awareness of our own feelings, emotions and how we function.
To accept that feeling emotions is normal. To hold a safe space for ourselves to feel.
