Major Stephen Taylor is a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina and a graduate of Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland. Major Taylor has served in the United States Marine Corps since 1996 in various leadership roles and has served multiple tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He is also a husband to his wife, Charlene, and a father to their three children: Sarah, Aidan, and Sean Patrick
In 2010, Major Taylor survived a blast from an IED but suffered lasting consequences to his physical and mental health. Through the support of his family, Major Taylor manages the long road to recovery for himself and now champions the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, a charity dedicated to helping servicemembers and their families in honor of those who never made it home.
