Join Mike Kear in Sydney, Australia  as he counts down the 20 hottest bluegrass songs on the bluegrass chart according to BluegrassToday.com.   This week, Mike is joined by Amanda Cook.  She’s a senior executive at leading bluegrass record label Mountain Fever Records,  and a band leader.    She knows a great many of the people in the bluegrass world, and contributes a lot to the interest this show holds for roots music fans.

As usual Mike and Amanda will spin IN FULL the Top 20 songs played this past week on bluegrass radio stations all over the world, as they count down to the new number 1.  Actually there will be 22 songs in the Top 20 this week, because there are two spots on the chart that are ties.     He’ll also play 17 old favourites rejoining the countdown.  So this week’s countdown has turned out to be a kind of  “Best Bluegrass of 2023”   The list is drawn from the airplay chart released by BluegrassToday.com just this last Friday night!  And Amanda has brought some brand new songs for you trom her label, Mountain Fever Records
