This podcast had me inspired from the first bell! Kaye Scott joins me today to chat all things winning Silver at the recent Commonwealth Games in Birmingham and how she was the first female in NSW to break the boxing bias and compete in the ring!  

There were so many inspiring topics that we sank our fists into, including the financial commitment to pursue a love of sport and how little funding was available. We chat how much Kaye won as a silver medallist and as the No2 female Welterweight Champion in the whole of The Commonwealth (made my eyes water)!

Kaye and I share her journey of grit, determination and what her weekly training schedule and nutrition look like. We touch on todays taboo topic of Transgender competition in Sport, how ageism is perceived in sport and how inspirational as a role model she is to up and coming females in sport.
