Maya speaks to the sanctity of a women's body, mind, spirit; of her indelible journey of the Goddess with the sacred passages in her life and the birthing pathway called , in Sanskrit, the "Yoni".  She reminds us to care for the sacred vaginal passageway, the birthing channel of creation, and, as women,  to shift our perspective away from the mechanized reproductive, and sterilization methods that modern society has deemed proper to put in place of a woman's primordial shaktified power to care for herself.
