’Tis’the ceasefire to be jolly
It’s a Ho Ho Holyland Holiday Special!
Thats right in this weeks episode we get festive and celebrate all the Holidays, Hanukkah, Christmas and Kwanza too.
And if thats not enough this week we have the first guest thats not DJ Milkweed in the studio with us. Thats right its the first appearance of Soso the J joining me as my co-host for todays show.
We discuss our favorite Christmas films, explain Elf on a Shelf and sing along to some of both of our favorite Holiday butterjoints!
We sprinkle samples from some classic holiday films and play records from everyone from Bing Crosby to Dipset, Shirley Temple to Teddy Pendergrass, Run DMC, Ramones, Amy Winehouse, Jack Black & Jim Carrey, James Brown, the Kinks, El Vez, Oy Vey, the Pogues, the Ronettes, Melee and even the legendary Norm McDonald shows up from the dead to do the 12 days of Christmas!
Its Christmas Eve today and I cant think of no better way to spend the Holiday than kicking back with some eggnog by the fire and listening to this episode as you wait for your hippopotamus for Christmas.
Ohhh Fuuuuudge!
Enjoy the gift of music and just press play
Have a very Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah and Happy Kwanza from all of us here at the UNCLE SIRIS Show, YALLA!!!!
Live from the heart of the Galil Mountains on 105.3FM, this is more than just a radio show—it’s a sonic journey through time, culture, and sound. Hosted by a native New Yorker who cut his teeth spinning records in the city’s underground scenes of hip hop, reggae, dub, punk, and dancehall. He now has relocated to the mountains of Northern Israel to bring this knowledge of music to everyone in earshot.
We dig deep into the record crates telling the stories behind the music that shaped generations and putting some stank on it in the process. Each episode weaves a tapestry of genres, connecting the past and present like an old school cassette mixtape with special guest appearances from kindred spirits like Uncle Siris’ daughter, Soso, and the Silent Bob of of the DJ world, Mixmaster DJ Milkweed.
"Uncle Siris and his show is the most sacred thing Israel has since the Temple Mount" -Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky
“This isn’t just music radio—it’s soothing sonic soul on the airwaves” - Emanuel Lewis
"This is the greatest music variety show I have ever heard"- Helen Keller
"When I listen to show of Uncle its like to make sexy-time to my earholes" - Zohan
