War really sucks, you know what I mean? At least, that's the dark, visceral lesson at the heart of 2008's "Stop-Loss." Turns out, a raw, gritty, and thoroughly bleak critique of Bush era militarization makes for a pretty dour movie and, by extension, podcast. Jake and Sin attempt to find moments of light in the dark such as one Boneyard Match, Joseph Gordon Levitt Watch(™), and Foghorn Leghorn by way of Ryan Phillippe.
Content Warning: This movie deals with combat, PTSD, domestic violence, and death by suicide. All of these topics are briefly mentioned in the podcast.
