One last Soderbergh before we go! It's time to say goodbye our favorite filter loving "auteur" and we've saved The Best (Magic Mike XXL notwithstanding) for last. Soderbergh dips back into the world of heists with an ode to working class wealth reclamation in *Logan Lucky*. And we're glad he does! Jake and Sin discuss topics such as Hot Dads and Dad Bods, the origins of one Benoit Blanc, and the community ties that bind.

What a dark timeline we live in, where Channing Tatum cannot be the true song and dance man that we know him to be! Thank God we have *Hail, Caesar!* to give us a little hint of what we're missing. We're journeying back to the Golden Age of Hollywood and and discussing topics such as the joy of recognizing actors, Communism 101, and the most graceful leap to a submarine every caught onscreen.

What a pivot! There's no great way to leave *Migic Mike XXL* behind, so we might as well opt for the complete and total opposite of it. In this episode, Jake and Sin try to tackle the complexities of Tarantino's *The Hateful Eight* and it turns out it's a very hard movie to talk about!

It's here. Finally. After a long trek (and a bit a delay) we arrive at what very well may be the apex of this project, American Classic, *Magic Mike XXL*. This pod is *hefty* and rightfully so because this movie deserves a thorough exploration of it's perfect dancing and even perfecter emotional bonding. Some topics we sexily strip into include a Secret Soderbergh, subscription based strip clubs, and what it means to create the art you love.

Oh what pure, unadulerated joy this episode brings! Jake and Sin take off on their anti-grav inline roller blades and fly into the lush universe of *Jupiter Ascending*, a Cyberpunk Space Opera that can only be described as "A LOT." While bouncing around our solar system, they discuss topics such as triumph of bold, unashamed choices, #GirlFantasy, and Jake's first foray into the wild, vast Omegaverse.

Our first animated feature brings *all* sorts of challenges for Chatty Tatters and our hosts as they attempt to wade through the complexity of *The Book of Life*. And boy, do they wade. Topics of discussion include lopsided love triangles, whiteness and all of it's bullshit, and jarring jukebox musicals.

Jake and Sin (somewhat reluctantly) return to the Lord and Miller world of Jump Street with ground level expections. But, they're not alone! Local comedian/tour de force Howie Echo-Hawk joins/is forced to join them on their journey back into the snake pit where, luckily, they find a mostly great romcom with some shitty bells and whistles. Some things we hit on along the way include the greatest living American actor, dudes being emotionally intimate bros, and a rating that will go down in *Chatting Tatum* history.

This week, Jake and Sin take in quiet, contemplative, and so very, very bleak *Foxcatcher*. Is Channing up for this pivot to grounded, serious drama? Spoiler alert: yes, but that doesn't make it a pleasant watch. Topics of discussion include the perversion of sports through capitalism, cocaine fueled hair decisions, and the uncanny valley of face prosthetics.

Content Warning: mental illness, murder, eating disorders, anti-Black racism. It's just... a lot.

There's a stark irony in watching a movie concerning the protection if the US President in the *current era*. Unfortunately, *White House Down'*s blandness doesn't really enable much escapism, even if the fiery destruction of our nation's capitol is an apt metaphor for the current state of politics.
