In this episode, we talk to Hugo Miranda, the Principal Investigator of the Dysmetabolism in Brain Diseases (DysBrainD) group at CEDOC, in Lisbon, Portugal, that studies brain dysmetabolism as an underlying cause of neurodegenerative diseases.

He tells us what his responsibilities as a PI are, how he tries to be a good leader for his group members, and how he decided to go into scientific research.
