A little different to our usual topic this week as I interview my client, friend and respected researcher Dr Alice Paine. Alice is an earth scientist who studies climate change using different materials to reconstruct the earths past climates & extreme events to try answer questions about the future of the planet.
She talks about her unusual route into the world of research and earth science.
We discussed how volcanoes can impact the climate, WHY THE SKY IS BLUE, we discuss ice ages & using materials to predict what happened MILLIONS OF YEARS AGO.
We also give insight into how you can become more of a critical thinker when reading ANY research, how to learn more about climate change and some nuggets of info on how to spot misinformation - whether it's nutrition science or earth science.
