On Today’s episode we bring you a great conversation of one of Abbotsford School District’s trustees, Mr. Stan Petersen, joining us live in the classroom to tell us about the role of a school board trustee. Mr. Petersen is a former teacher and principal in the Abbotsford District. Mr. Petersen has served on the Abbotsford school board for over 10 years. He has also been a board member of the Abbotsford Youth Commission, Vice President of the 2016 BC Summer games, director of the Kiwanis club and has served as a coach and promoter of BC High School wrestling, basketball, special Olympics and has had regular trips to Haiti to provide school supplies and teacher training.
