In this episode I will present a specific harm - reduction based solution that I refer to as: Walking the Tightrope. There will be some charts at the end for those who can see the video version. For those who cannot, the charts are mostly the same with the exception of the arrow position. This is a further elaboration of the solutions podcast episodes in this series and the solutions articles on my website willhoey.com. Once again, I am trying to work inside the box of the public's belief in human rulership. People tend to confuse the need for humans to administer punishment for crimes with the perceived need for a master class of humans to rule over the masses. People mistakenly think that society needs humans to create subjective rules for the masses to abide by and enforce. What the public does not understand is that there are objective natural behavioral laws that are in effect whether humans adhere to these laws or not. Humans are required to know, understand and align with these laws. Punishment should not be administered by enforcement. Self - defense is the proper way to punish people. This is just the beginning of understanding natural laws. We can walk the tightrope between right and wrong. When we are wrong, we can correct it. This is a learning process that requires responsibility. The populace must understand that everyone has to be involved in maintaining a free society.
