Rudy brings up his current read, Days of Rage, which he picked up after reading about the Mississippi Freedom Movement - “We Will Shoot Back” (watch ep 70!). Rudy relates it to an American man caught in Israel trying to firebomb the Israeli Embassy - who posted it online. We look back on the tragic murder of George Floyd, the subsequent uprising, and the fall off of attention and activism relating to the police oppression and genocide of Black people in Amerikkka and globally. Relly had an important and impactful protest for George Floyd and Palestine on Sunday. We discuss the relation of the Gaza genocide to the genocide of indigenous peoples on this land, and the ongoing genocide against Black and Indigenous people in this country. Things are getting so bad over here, other countries are trying to cut themselves off from the US, even on the internet! We end with Rudy emphasizing the brilliance of autonomous mutual aid organizing in NYC
