Between Yuh-jung Youn in "Minari" and Glenn in "Hillbilly Elegy," we're getting so much Big Grandma Energy this Oscar season. While "Minari" and its male stars Steven Yuen and Alan S. Kim are getting lots of recognition, to say nothing of Youn's much-deserved nomination, we have equal praise for Yeri Han as Monica. We also find some surprising similarities to "Little Miss Sunshine," queen out on the multiple brief but powerful face journeys in this movie, swoon over the score, and break down the best bits of that rooftop parking lot scene before Nick makes a shocking revelation about his feelings on a certain nominee this year who shall not be named...
