Koya is an international yoga teacher, holistic health coach, best selling author, transformational speaker, spiritual teacher and vegan activist, her energy is infectious. After a debilitating stress fracture derailed her athletic career, Koya was introduced to yoga. The young athlete was lost, feeling as though she had put all her eggs in one basket. “I was always go, go, go with a heavy training load and intensely busy schedule. The stress fracture was a wake up call to stop and slow everything down,” Koya said.
She took a year off her busy schedule and spent time with herself, getting to know who she really was at her core and learned to slow down, slowly heal her body and reset her speed - which she confesses was always on fast.
