It’s the holidays and it’s a happy time for many of us. It’s also a time when our mental health can be challenged either by busy schedules or a reminder that we don’t have the close connections we may want in our lives. As many of us celebrate many struggle with their mental health, dealing with anxiety or loneliness – especially with travel still being difficult and a second year of pandemic holidays.
So today we are going to have three guests who are experts in the field of mental health. First, we will revisit an episode I recorded with Dr. Jacqueline Olds and Dr. Richard Schwartz who are authors and Harvard professors on the topic of loneliness. Then we will talk with my friend Julie Dwyer who is the founder of Ease Mindfullness and currently completing her PHD in the field.
Check out these conversations and learn how we can combat loneliness and stress this holiday season.
