Episode 78: How I think about training after turning 40

Listen Later

Turning 40 is a big deal, and even though I tried not to let the milestone number affect my thoughts on growing older there is a stark truth. The body and the spirit know you're turning 40 and they will let you know about it!

Turns out I needed to apply the ancient wisdom I've been helping the guys I coach come to terms with their own aging bodies and how to keep the athletic spirit alive as they enter their golden years.

So as I break down how I see my own training evolving, it's based on the deep philosophy of Aristotle and the unique psychology of Carl Jung, I dive deep into the theory and then share how I put it into practice.

Just because aging happens doesn't mean there isn't a harmonious way to balance all the things required to get the most out of living an athletic life, and that's exactly what I lay out in this episode.
