Listen Later

This episode 78 of Ask Concussion Doc focuses on the importance of seeking concussion care early. Being unable to find proper care early on may then lead to the patient experiencing persistent concussion symptoms thus preventing them from recovering as soon as possible. A recent 2015 study by Polaski and colleagues determined from 180 participants that a delay in the initial evaluation was the most predictive factor for having a prolonged recovery.
