A big week for hardcore boxing. 

We saw WBO welterweight champ Brian Norman knock out Jin Sasaki. Is he the best guy at the division now that Jaron "Boots" Ennis has moved up in weight?

Then, we talk about Francisco Rodriguez defeating Galal Yafai. Rodriguez is a lower-weight legend who has been underrated, while Yafai, a 2020 British Olympic gold medalist, is in career limbo. 

Callum Walsh cut, but wins his fight against Elias Espadas. Welterweight Vernon Brown knocked out Gor Yeritsyan, handing the Armenian fighter his second loss in less than 12 months. 

The Top Rank card saw Vito Mielnicki Jr win in a hometown fight, but the story of the card was Jahi Tucker defeating Lorenzo "Truck" Simpson. Tucker is a capital G Guy and probably the prospect of the year? 

Also, Canelo Alvarez-Terence Crawford press tour has started. 

This week....

Liam Paro faces Jonathan Navarro in the middle of the week from Australia. 

On Friday, Deontay Wilder will face Tyrrell Herndon. The fight is on PPV.com and features Deon Nicholson and Nico Hernandez on the undercard. 

On Friday on ESPN+. Christian Mbilli will fight Maciej Sulecki. This is a good fight. Undercard notables are Moreno Fendero and Wyatt Sanford. 

On Saturday, the event of the week is Jake Paul vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on pay-per-view. 

The co-feature is unified cruiserweight titleholder Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez facing Yuniel Dorticos. 

A strong undercard consists of a welterweight showdown between Avious Griffin-Julian Rodriguez, a lightweight bout between Floyd Schofield-Tevin Farmer, 10 rounds, the welterweight return of Raul Curiel, a women's lightweight bout between Holly Holm and Yolanda Vega.

The depth continues deeper on the card with junior bantamweight John "Scrappy" Ramirez, a sink-or-swim fight for Victor Morales vs. Rene Alvarado, a bantamweight step-up fight between Alexander Gueche vs. Vincent Avina, 
Welterweight Joel Iriarte and junior flyweight Naomy Valle are also featured. 

On Saturday on Triller TV, Jean Pascal will fight Michal Cieslak, and cruiserweight Marcus Browne will be in the co-feature.
