3 common misinterpretations in Communication & Learning contexts:
These and many other situations have an explanation related to the different ways of receiving information, the filters that go through it, and how they are interpreted to communicate and learn.
Knowing these different languages facilitates conscious communication, favors learning, and avoids discussions and conflicts in many contexts. Neuro-linguistic programming identified these different languages and their patterns; a before and after for those of us who have trained on this discipline.
In NLP various types of people are distinguished, depending on their dominant representational system, or in other words, the meaning they use the most when receiving these sensory stimuli, which then become interpretations, words and thoughts. Scenes representing these groups of people behaving and communicating in a specific way are shown throughout this episode.
Learning to identify them is very useful to establish a conscious communication that flows to achieve the expected results. The ideal for each person is to balance those other senses that are used less. It would be like using only one language when we can master three different ones.
When you have an impact on the growth of other people, as an educator, as a mother or father, as a professional who leads and inspires other people, it is necessary to free yourself from your map and explore the map of others to achieve active listening and a better connection than promote communication, learning or collaboration.
