In this episode of The Home Building and Remodeling Show we talk about house plans, engineers, and how the online plans aren’t the best option to use because of their lack of details.  We then break down how schedule and plan jobs and our employee retention efforts.  Most times the online plans are very generic and leave the client as well as the builder having to guess on so many different specifications that it is just best to have a local architect draw the plans to ensure all details are laid out properly.  In this discussion we cover exactly what to look for in a set pf plans to help both the client and home builder.  We also discuss the difference between an architect and engineer and how that can change the plans depending on the code requirements.  We have all had a tough time lately retaining employees, but we break down how we make sure to put value on quality-of-life initiatives and how that has helped us build our employee base and retain them.  We break down how we plan and coordinate our jobs discussing everything from the walk through to the materials needed to make sure the job can start and finish on time.
