We DIG Community tells the stories of the people and organizations behind our Service Made Social mission. In this episode we speak to Hannah Dewey, one of our local Host Team leaders in Denver. 

 

Hannah stumbled upon Community Bucket in February 2020, and she was able to join us shortly before our events were halted during the Covid lockdowns. Fortunately, Hannah was able to keep getting involved during that time, leading a crew for our Impact Where You Live initiative last April & May. Given her professional focus on event marketing, Hannah was able to jump in and organize several events with our team, ranging from a fundraiser 5k to a virtual cooking class. 

 

We enjoyed hearing from Hannah what it was like to find CB as a new volunteer and then get involved throughout the pandemic, why she keeps coming back and telling others to do the same, and what's filling her time these days outside of work and Community Bucket.
