This week on the show, we'll be taking a deeper dive into two interrelated disciplines of design that a lot of people may not know about - interiorscaping and landscaping design. We invite our guest, none other than Mr. Anandit Sachdev. Landscaping design is the study of arranging elements in exterior spaces and creating convenient and habitable living environments. Interiorscaping refers to constructing a building from the inwards out.
Anandit Sachdev is an Assistant Professor at Jindal School of Art and Architecture. He is also the lead architect designing four of the twelve Matrimandir Gardens in Auroville, India. Anandit sir's research asks questions about the nature of sacrality of Indian landscapes and their relationship to beings. In 2016 he worked in collaboration with NOON Architects, Cairo to provide relevant urban regeneration and urban development proposals for Quseir.
