Prof. Sanjyot Shah is an experienced Architect and academician with an illustrious 28-year long career in the architectural industry. His experience in architectural design varies from mixed-use, high rise residential, sustainable design to comprehensive planning. As a passionate academician, he was associated with several prestigious architectural institutions across the state in varying capacities.With a Master’s in Landscape Architecture, he is currently pursuing PHD in“Accreditation in Architectural Education”.He is also an elected executive member of The Indian Institute of Architects,Karnataka Chapter for the term 2020-2022.

Ms.Alisha Sinha holds a Masters in Architecture by Research (partly by papers) from Sir. J. J. College of Architecture, Mumbai. Her professional experience involves working with Dar, a global design consultancy, where she built competency in interior design and building services. Alisha has been associated with research and academics for the past seven years.. She has presented her research papers at several reputed international conferences, and keeps looking for more opportunities to explore, learn, collaborate and share her work. She currently works as a lecturer of Design, Graphics and Architectural Research at R V College of Architecture, Bangalore in India, where she is also actively associated with Kalpa, an organisational initiative to inculcate the culture of research among students.

This week on the show, we'll be taking a deeper dive into two interrelated disciplines of design that a lot of people may not know about - interiorscaping and landscaping design. We invite our guest, none other than Mr. Anandit Sachdev. Landscaping design is the study of arranging elements in exterior spaces and creating convenient and habitable living environments. Interiorscaping refers to constructing a building from the inwards out.

Anandit Sachdev is an Assistant Professor at Jindal School of Art and Architecture. He is also the lead architect designing four of the twelve Matrimandir Gardens in Auroville, India. Anandit sir's research asks questions about the nature of sacrality of Indian landscapes and their relationship to beings. In 2016 he worked in collaboration with NOON Architects, Cairo to provide relevant urban regeneration and urban development proposals for Quseir. 

This week on the show, we’ll be taking a deeper dive into a discipline of design that a lot of people may not have heard about, or don’t know enough about - exhibition design. Our guest for this episode is none other than Prof. Lolita Dutta, a renowned alumnus of the National Institute of Design. Lolita Ma’am graduated from the National Institute of Design, from the faculty of Visual Communication with a specialization in exhibition design. She co-founded and successfully ran a design firm, with expertise in the areas of Graphic Design, Advertising, Retail, and Film Design. Her experience includes designing for SONY, Anand Group, Cannon, Ministry of Education, National Geographic, and so on. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, writing, working with mixed media, and cooking.
