For 50 years Peter worked for T & J Harrison Shipping Line and saw the move to containerisation -  transporting commodities from Liverpool to India,  the Far East and Central America.
Learning to ride horses was interesting but  crossing a trench with just a plank and rope was much more difficult!
A firm believer in the countryside and its communities working together,  he tells us how to both enjoy life as well as contribute to it.
