Introducing The H.A.B.I.T.S Model! This is the guideline for all of my 1 on 1 coaching clients, and today I’m going to give you an overview as well as some quick tips for how you can use each of them. In the next 6 weeks I’ll dive in to each one with even more goodies to help you create daily habits that get you to your goals!
Ya’ll know I come from an higher education background so I’m a sucker for acronyms - let me break it down for you:
Health
Accountability
Breath
Inspiration
Tracking
Simplicity
With each of these as the guide for your time with me, we crush your goals. While you patiently wait for our first breakdown (Health- coming next week!) here’s some reading material to consider. Two books that massively break down the benefit of habits done daily are The Slight Edge and The Compound Effect. Both are great reads and I’d highly recommend them!
Whether you’re looking to lose weight in the New Year, crush your side hustle goals or finally get your spending on track - I’m here to support you 1 on 1. The one size fits all model or any model that has you totally revamping your life will not work. Daily habits, accountability and more will get you to your goals, finally!
Woo Woo Tool of the Week: The Pranamat. Now, this plastic bed of nails isn’t for the faint of heart - they call it a massage mat, buuuuuuut I’d have to disagree. I saw it on a Facebook ad (shocker) and had to try it out. The concept is solid - rushing blood flow to an area of pain to help heal it makes sense to me. After sleeping on a couch for three days at my parent’s house I pulled my mat back out. These last few weeks I’ve been using it daily during my meditation practice and have been seeing a huge difference in my upper back tension. Try it out and let me know what you think!
Up-Leveling My Mindset: This episode by Tim Ferris is such a great one. A.J. Jacobs takes over the podcast and gives us 10 strategies to be happier through gratitude. Some were reminders for me, some brand new. Give it a listen - you won’t regret it!
