This week I have finished my huge Secrets of Change shawl and a couple of smaller things for the Russian Orphanage. I have three WIPs: two socks and a shawl. I have been spinning a lot this week and have almost completed my January spin the bin.

Ravelry group http://www.ravelry.com/groups/bookishstitcher-podcast : The shawl KAL is going strong with lots of beautiful shawls being knit up. The new short story for the February read-along is Silver Blaze by Sherlock Holmes. I am collecting items to send to a couple of Russian orphanages. I will be mailing them off middle/end of Feb. My enabling this week is from Unwind Yarn Company and Wren & Ollie. It is also the last of the enabling from Christmas. The book this week is the short story The Murders in the Rue Morgue by Edgar Allan Poe.
