Episode 82 - The 2009 Fort Hood Shooting

Listen Later

On November 5, 2009 an Army Major named Nidal Hisan walked into a medical center on Fort Hood and began shooting soldiers. Nidal had become a radicalized Muslim and felt this act of violence against the US Army was a God given mission that would help atone his mother's sins for her failure to follow a devout Muslim life.
