On this episode, Ashley Guiffre joins Cheryl and Meg to share her breast cancer journey. Ashley was diagnosed at the age of 37 and had all clear mammograms until one day her doctor saw something they didn't like. After more imaging and testing, she was diagnosed with microinvasive ductal carcinoma (stage t1mic) ++-. Ashley endured two lumpectomies followed by 24 rounds of radiation. She will be on Tamoxifen for five to eight years. Cheryl hopes that in having women share their stories, she can convince others to stay up-to-date with their mammograms.
