Episode 84: Chaya Topas & Her Book, When We Visit You...
ABOUT CHAYA
Chaya is a mom of three who takes the approach that it's better to laugh than to try. Her attitude towards raising kids is to not take yourself too seriously and to give kids an opportunity to figure their things out. Chaya began writing as a way to express how she felt about raising great kids in these volatile times and in doing so, she finally found her passion. Chaya wrote a children's book about a running joke between her husband and herself that one day, when their children were grown up, they would do all the crazy things their kids used to do in their own homes. It was a joke that has eased the tension of trying to get their kids to listen to them without getting angry and frustrated. And it was every parent's revenge fantasy come to life! Chaya has been featured on local television, and websites, social media feeds, and has done readings in schools. Raising children is a crapshoot, you don't know what you're going
