In my coaching career I have had many clients. Just as I have clients who love me, I also have clients who don't like me. One of the reasons is because I am very honest with them and can sometimes come off as harsh with the truth.
My job is to give my clients results and to be able to do that, I have to tell them where they are failing even if they don't want to hear the truth.
So in this article I'm going to compare a legitimate reason not to exercise with an excuse you may be making for not exercising. If you are not willing to confront your excuses and if your weight loss is not a priority, this article is not for you. You may be offended, so stop reading and look for an article that talks about what you want to hear. Now if you are interested in getting real results in your weight loss, body and life continue reading.
So let's start by comparing some reasons with some excuses…
A broken bone is a good reason. Any good trainer and doctor knows that you can't train with a broken bone. It is important to give at least 6 weeks for the bone to heal before you can exercise. If you don't give the bone time, the bone won’t fuse from the initial position where it should be and you have to start the process all over. So it's not good to exercise with a broken bone.
