In this episode of the Secret MENS Business podcast we speak with SUZANNE WRIGHT about how she made the decision to give herself permission to listen to her inner voice, rather than to old messages telling her incorrect information. This revelation. allowed her to find something she has been seeking for a LONG time - Inner Peace.
Humans are creatures of habit. We like our routines, our ways of doing and being in the world.
Then something comes along and all that gets disrupted, blown up, maybe even obliterated. We start to fumble around in the dark looking for the light switch that will turn everything back on.
Over the last few months Suzanne found a new normal, a new routine that she settled into. She dealt with not feeling settled at all. As well as being somewhere in the middle all depending on the minute, day, or week.
Regardless of where she was in the moment, she gave herself permission to be in the present moment.This interview explores this process.
We also look at her charity - SHINE.
Shine is an innovative not-for-profit charity, connecting young people in Cambodia and Australia to create a better world. We run a community project in Otres, Cambodia to alleviate poverty and assist children and families break the poverty cycle by providing a range of education, health and wellbeing services. The project is registered in Australia and runs completely on donations.
In Melbourne Australia, we educate, empower and inspire teenagers to create social change through our social impact youth program and the volunteer experiences we offer. Young people are powerful: Shine gives them the chance to find their light and use it.
