Drawing from his past, Rick begins an overall discussion of Protology, the study of origins, found within the pages of Genesis to bring into focus the relationship between the Creator and the Created versus a self-generating chaotic and unfeeling universe. As with most studies, a study of a particular book of the Bible cannot be ripped from its context of the surrounding books. In order to understand the critical Epistle to the Hebrews, Rick believes you must understand the relationships between the God of the Bible and the people He selected to call His own.
