A few months ago, I discovered that Las Cruces had elected the first all-female city council in the city's history. In this episode, we discuss the significance of this new and exciting reality, including the all-too-familiar challenges. You'll hear about how this new council is leading, communicating and collaborating, and what they're focused on accomplishing during this term.

We reflect on what would be different if half of all elected positions globally were occupied by women. In addition, Kasandra offers her thoughts on how to get more women running for and elected to public office.
