Wisconsin has one of the best park systems in the state. When most people talk about Wisconsin parks, they usually mean one of our state parks. And why wouldn’t they? Wisconsin state parks offer so much to each visitor. And each park offers something different. You really get a taste of the different areas and regions of the state with the different terrains and trials at each park. And with over 40 state parks spread throughout Wisconsin, you definitely get a chance to feel what it’s like to experience Wisconsin.

But did you know that Wisconsin’s county park system offers a great alternative to the larger state parks. There are a lot of advantages to these smaller parks and on this week's podcast I go through some of the things that I enjoy about our county parks.
