Overview: 

Ruins of Lordaeron was implemented during patch 2.1.0 on 27 May 07 as part of Burning Crusade expansion (specifically the Black Temple Patch).  It is best known during the AWC tournaments as the map Supatease says is “a fitting resting place”. :)
