In the grand scheme of things and on the outside looking in, being a collegiate athlete seems amazing! Behind the medals and awards comes discipline, hard work, and perseverance. However, there are downsides. For many college athletes, college recruiting can be frustrating and overwhelming. Additionally, when it comes to injuries, not many people are able to understand the frustration and anxiety that comes with it.
