Episode 9 features Dave McDonald. Dave is one of the most accomplished and successful runners in our area. He is member of the inaugural Tidewater Striders Hall of Fame Class of 2011. We chatted about the highlights of his running career including multiple US Olympic marathon trials, winning the Shamrock Marathon twice, and an amazing 12th place finish at the 1984 Boston Marathon. Dave shares some entertaining stories of how he met and worked with Jesse Owens, and how his wife was almost involved in a police pursuit during one of his races!
