There are loads of things that can happen to you in your 20s, becoming a parent by accident and seeing it through especially as a man is not common.
He is referred to as "The Voice of the African Boychild", Shamala is the epitome of responsible. Once he got his then Belgian girlfriend pregnant and she moved back home to raise her child in Belgium, Shamala felt he really wanted to be a present father and would do whatever it took to be in his sons life. He met his son for the first time when the boy was six months old and that was it, he was willing to loose his opportunity to pursue the degree of his dreams and move to a foreign country where they didn't even speak English.
This episode is for the young me who might want to run away from their responsibilities and to encourage young ladies that there are a few good men out there.
