In this episode, Samantha speaks with Sarah Hatcher about museum education. Sarah Junk Hatcher serves as the Head of Programs and Education for the Indiana University Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology (formerly the Mathers Museum of World Cultures). Her academic background includes degrees in social studies education and history from the University of North Dakota and a M.S. in arts administration from the University of Oregon. In addition to her museum work, Sarah is currently a part-time doctoral student in curriculum and instruction at Indiana University. Her professional and research interests include project-based learning in both classroom and museum settings, social studies education and history, and material culture.
