Join us as we kick off our new series that we are so excited about. In this next set of episodes we are going to tackle some of scriptures most misused verses.

Today, Tim does an incredible job of laying out how critical it is to undersatnd two things: 1) the context of scripture, 2) that scripture was not actually written to us (American Western Culture) but that it is absolutely for us.

Jeremiah 29:11 is probably one of the msot misused verses of all time. It is often used as a comfort for prosperity and is easily found on a coffee mug or the cutest little home decor sign. Spoiler Alert: Jeremiah isn't preaching about prosperity here. But, don't fret because there is a certain hope imbeded into it that we cannot escape when we consider it's full context.
