Welcome to Episode 9, where we reminisce about our time studying abroad in Kyoto, Japan!  Studying abroad is a great opportunity for students to meet different people and experience new cultures!  We are both extremely biased towards choosing to study abroad and strongly encourage our college-aged listeners to do so if you have the chance!  What were some of our thoughts going through our minds before, during, and after the 10 week program?  As we look back on some awesome memories, we'll talk about topics related to:

• Our first impressions of each other (we met on this trip!)
• Budgeting for food (poor conversion rate at the time) and fun food memories
• Finding a school/life balance
• Being put into a class with a teacher that spoke in 100% Japanese
• Accidentally into the wrong districts of Kyoto

Candice and Jake are young working professionals currently based in the Bay Area. Candice works for a tech company, and Jake works for a biopharmaceutical company.
