Welcome to What The Heck season 3! This podcast explores unexplained phenomena using stories gathered from various sources, then applies an academic research method to find theories and solutions for each one. So far, we've been unsuccessful in finding any concrete answers, but one of the stories we've covered has been solved. This week your host, Glen, is going to look at Demonic Possession in detail. Over the next 7 days, we'll be looking at what Demonic Possession is, how exorcism works, and some case studies. It's a big topic for just one episode, so Glen's taken some cases- both well known and little known- and will be going through them. He'll be looking at evidence to see if anything points to possession being real or not. Some of these cases are disturbing, and may upset listeners, but Glen outlines this at the start of each episode so you coan decide whether to continue. Today's case study is George Lukins. A strange event at Christmastime changed George's life. After many theories, he settled on possession. This is the oldest example of possession this week, and shows how some of the process worked. Join Glen as he tells the story and looks at all the theories!
