With the start of a new anime season comes our seasonal discussion of the good, bad, and quite certainly ugly that the season has to offer. And with the large amount of shows this season has in store, we’ve got two loaded episodes to unpack a season filled with sequels, quality, and even some dumpster fires as well - and we have our good friends Megan from Dub Talk and Sketch from just about everywhere to join us and help us out with the chatter and snark that the season has given us.
In the first of these two episodes, we go through the fall leftover and discuss the merits of Jujutsu Kaisen, how Mr. Osomatsu is still out for blood, and our thoughts on Yashahime doing “the thing” that many foresaw and/or feared. And along with that, we also go over the litany of sequels on display, including our bemusement of the direction of The Promised Neverland, how often Attack on Titan violates the Geneva Convention, and our willingness to head back into the DATABASE DATABASE with Log Horizon after a six-plus year layoff.
We also broke the news of MEGALOBOX returning in April. And it was during Log Horizon. How does this sort of thing happen TWICE?
