On Sunday, November 10, 2024, in the wee hours of the morning, my beautiful Aunt Diane's soul took flight. She no longer has to feel the pain and sufferings of this world. She is healed. She is with the Father. Though her life appeared to be full of pain as of late, I must share that she never complained. She always lived life not worrying or speaking negatively about things she could not control. She trusted God and accepted what He allowed. She spoke into my life by living her life. She told me that life is too short to be unhappy. Too short to feel unfulfilled. She never understood why people allowed circumstances to paralyze them with fear, so much that they would rather stay where they were- than to explore the goodness that God had for them. This is why this episode is entitled "If Fear Wasn't a Factor". Fear wasn't a factor for her. She stopped chemo and said "Thy Will Be Done". She was tired. She was ready to be with God. She was not afraid. Will we ever reach a point in our lives where we become this fearless? Death is unknown, but she knew that what God promised is far greater than the pain she was experiencing on this side. What would you do, become, or pursue if fear wasn't a factor? Rest in Peace Auntie. Will always love you.
